Ambassador

I’d love to be an AMBASSADOR because I love to share my learning with other people around the world.I also would love to be an ambassador because I love to talk in front of lots of people about my learning and stuff I learn in class and also at home. I have learned this year faster typing skills on my netbook. I have used this netbook to research things that we want to know about in OUR learning.

LEARN

This year, I have experienced how to use a netbook. During the past 10 months, I have learned many skills, like how to bookmark a website, how to make a new document, presentation, drawing, and spreadsheets. We still use our books and stationary, but our netbooks gave us different learning than book work.  Our teacher, Miss ouano, teaches us the most important thing of all when it comes to the internet, “Being Cyber Smart”. B.C.S is a way how to be smart when you’re on the internet, and how not to go on rude websites, or talk to any strangers on the web we don’t know.

CREATE

When I create something new, it would be more likely better than the other. My email has a lot of mail that I have read and unread. I also like the way that we could use our mail to send and email to someone in the class, like our teacher, or when we are in such a rush, we use mini messaging called “Chat”. My classroom was introduced to Chat in the middle of Term 3. My class also knows how to use “Wordle”. We also liked doing buddy work and working together in groups, so when we ever did that, we would have our work finished very early, so we could have more work to be finished.

SHARE

Sharing is a very good example of having other people help you with your work. It could also let other people look at your work on your blog. People could look at your blog and get all the information they want and need, even the ones you don’t know will still like your work on your blog. Sometimes when I do my work, my class always shares their work with the teacher, so she can give us feedback and feedforward. When I share with my partner, we get the work finished on time, and we don’t waste any of our time. I can always share my work by either putting it in a folder (Writing, Reading), or share it by using the share button on the top right corner.

My Naritive

Once upon a time there lived a very happy family of pigs they loved rolling around in the mud and eating the Shane family’s leftover food.

One day Eli and his sisters Emma and Estella came outside of the house and saw all of the pigs were gone. He got so worried he started running up and down the path and then he smacked his head right into the door and he fell right onto the ground.

Then an hour after that there was a problem they had to go to the hospital for Eli but there was no one looking after the animals so they couldn't go but they just went with Eli to the hospital. While they were gone the pigs planned on taking over the farm.

So the next day they got everything ready and they went inside the house and got all of the shane family’s stuff even clothes and took it all back outside into their barn yard when the shane family got home they quickly rushed back into the barn yard and made everything nice and tidy and put clothes on and made beds with the mattress and blankets, pillows.

Then they lived happily ever after.

The five little pigs

one sunny day there lived a mother pig and her five little pigs in a small cottage. Everyday mother pig had to go to work down the lane in a very big house she had to make a lot of sandwiches for the kings little kids they were very fat. 

Every evening mother pig would come home and ask did you go to school today. The five little pigs replied "Yes we went to school today mum". However mum found out that those naughty little pigs did not go to school today she was very angry with them. she wanted to find out if they did go to school today so she spoke to the mouse that live under there cottage.  

Mother pig told the mouse tommorow can you watch if my dirty old children go to school please and I will give you some cheese for dinner fora  reward she said.  "Ummmmmmmm" he said "Ok deal”. So he ran after all of them.

Suddenly they heard a squeaky voice from under their cottage ‘Oh no” said the mouse they did not go to school I followed them all the way to where they went, and they did not go to school.  

The pigs were furious that the mouse gave way there secret. They were annoyed that they had to go to school and they could not do anything about it from then on the five little pigs had to go to school everyday or the mouse would tell there mum.

Billy goat gruff

ONCE upon a time there were three billy goats, who were to go up to the hillside to eat grass and make themselves fat. The name of each one of them was “Gruff”.

On the way up was a bridge over a cascading stream they had to cross; and under the bridge lived a great ugly troll, with eyes as big as saucers, and a nose as long as a poker.

So first of all came the youngest Billy Goat Gruff to cross the bridge.

“Trip, trap! trip, trap!” went the bridge as he trotted across.

“Who’s that tripping over my bridge?” roared the troll.

“Oh, it is only I, the tiniest Billy Goat Gruff, and I’m going up to the hillside to make myself fat,” said the billy goat, with such a small voice.

Now, I’m coming to gobble you up,” said the troll.

“Oh, no! pray don’t take me. I’m too little, that I am,” said the billy goat. “Wait a bit till the second Billy Goat Gruff comes. He’s much bigger.”

“Well, be off with you,” said the troll.

A little while after came the second Billy Goat Gruff to cross the bridge.

“TRIP, TRAP! TRIP, TRAP! TRIP, TRAP!” went the bridge.

“Now I ‘m coming to gobble you up,” roared the troll.

Well, come along! I’ve got two spears,
And I’ll poke your eyeballs out at your ears;
I’ve got besides two curling-stones,
And I’ll crush you to bits, body and bones.

That was what the big billy goat said. And then he flew at the troll, and poked his eyes out with his horns, and crushed him to bits, body and bones, and tossed him out into the ravine and after that he went up to the hillside. There the billy goats got so fat they were scarcely able to walk home again. And if the fat hasn’t fallen off them, why, they’re still fat; and so,

My holiday

Ohhhhhhhhhhh!! My gosh you can’t believe what I did in the holidays, I had so much fun. I went to the matariki light trail and I slept over my aunt's house and nanas too. My family and I had so much fun doing all these things in the holidays.

At my aunt's house we watched tv and played at the park. Then we had lunch and then we had dinner and we went to bed. The next day we did the same thing we went to the park and we played soccer & touch it was some fun.

When we had to go home we were very sad and angry we did not want to go home because it was very fun at my aunt’s house. We were angry very angry. So we had breakfast and then we had morning tea and lunch and then after dinner we went back home.

The queen said "is that right" YES than you shall be his friend she fed him and put him on her pillow suddenly just that momment something happend he changed into a boy who are said the princess i'm a prince a witch cursed me to be a frog. My day on monday

On monday team 4 went on a trip to kelly tarlton's and they sure had lots of fun while me and Taunese stayed. We went to room 10 and finished of our work, like my Venelopy presentation she is a little girl of wreck it ralph she had a glitch so she could not race.

Then I did my studyladder. Listened to music on my blog and I had so much fun with taunese. We  played cool math games with her and we had lots of fun.

Later after that we had lunch and we played with here little brother and wat ever she had to eat he wanted to eat it so she just gave it to him. He cried every time she went back to room 10. Our day was so fun.

At the end of lunch time they came back and we went back to room 10 and we stayed for a little bit longer and then we went back to class and then miss ouano said when it gets to 2:30 and everyone has finished their work we could go on golden time. If you’r wondering what golden time means? It means free time.

Today room 14 went to kelly tarltons they had fun they saw lots of sea animals like seals, penguins, sharks and lots of other stuff. Thanks to miss ouano and all the other teachers that they went. I wish I was there so I can have lots of fun.

A Very Vain Mermaid

Write a legend about a vain mermaid who is a spy from another kingdom.

Once upon a time there was a very vain mermaid that was a spy from a different kingdom. She danced around while she was discovering something she played in the mirror and danced around.

The next day she got caught trying to take people's money and stole a beautiful mirror. She was put into jail for a very long time. She nearly died until her dad came and commanded King Askebam to let her go so he did.

After that she went home and she was so sad. Then she went to go and get changed so she could go to bed. She dreamt about the time when she was a theif and it made her feel sad.

At the end she learnt a lesson from that. Then she never stole ever ever again. She was a spy for ever and she was happy.

Scott base is a researching centre in Antarctica. It is owned by New zealand. It was named after captain robert falcon scott He was an a explorer of Antarctica. Scott base was located on ross island near mount erebus. He was born in 1868 the 6th of june. He died at the age of 43 29th of march 1912. His parents were John Edward Scott

Hannah Scott. His sons name was Peter Markham Scott he was born on the 14th of september 1990 and he died in the 29th of august 1989 at age of 79.

One day a dog called snap was a small black and brown dog. Then he went home and ada and harry were packing everything up he was shocked harry said their will be a truck here soon he was thinking in his head truck and then it arrived they were moving to a different house everyone went and said goodbey.

Today room 14 went on the star ship bus because toma won the star ship competition to do the best star and he won it.out of all schools it is ours.

Antarctica

Far far away in the south of Antarctica a researcher called james walked and walked. He could not find his group that he came with, until a big blizzard came. The researcher ran and ran and then it stopped. It was morning time, in the distance he saw something. So he thought it was one of his friends but it wasn't, it was a silly old penguin.   

Then he came across adille land there were so

many adelie penguins. One of them kicked a stone at his head ohhhhhhhhh!!! he said that was soure he was so sad because he missed his friends. He cried and cried.

Later after that he was so tired and he fell on a piece of ice and he drifted away on it. He woke up and there were some whales surrounding him he was so scared he fainted and the whales pushed him all the way to his friends.

He found his friends and they safely went home on their boat and he told them all about his adventure with the adille penguins.
